Our Mission

At Hobbs Allotments & Gardening Society, our mission is to create a happy community space, where everyone can grow their own food and connect with nature.

We believe that allotments are a valuable community asset, boosting health and well being. They provide sustainable growing spaces and they play an important role in our future.

Our History

We were founded in July 2011, on land leased by the parish councils of Clymping, Ford and Middleton-on-Sea from the then owner of Hobbs Farm, Patricia Stancomb. We have a memorial garden dedicated to Pat.

2026 marks our 15th year anniversary.
