Yes there are currently a couple of plots available (February 2026). If there are no plots available you can be added to our waiting list.
Plots are in two sizes:
2.5 rod (approx. 62.5 m2) £35 per annum
5 rod (approx. 125 m2) £46 per annum
The tenancy period runs from 1st April to 31st March. The fee includes a contribution to insurance.
New tenants are required to pay a £50 deposit for a 2.5 rod plot or £75 for a 5 rod plot at the time of taking up a tenancy. This is refundable to a satisfactory plot inspection on the termination of your tenancy.

On April 1st each year an email is sent out by our secretary with an application and tenancy form, which includes the BACS payment details.

Payment is made either by cash or bank transfer.
The AGM is held every January or February at the Middleton-on-Sea village hall. All tenants are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Permission must be granted by the Tenancy Liaison Committee for structures such as sheds, greenhouses and poly tunnels.

Yes plots are inspected 3 times a year, to ensure that they are being cultivated and being kept in a safe condition. Ad hoc inspections can occur as and when necessary.
We have no facility on-site, so please take home and dispose of responsibly.
Yes you can, but they must be on a lead at all times, controlled and within the boundary of your plot.
Strictly no bonfires are permitted on your plot. We encourage you to recycle and compost as an environmental alternative.
Strictly no tyres, bathtubs or any carpet/underlay can be brought on-site. Although they appear to be useful as planters, water containers and weed repellent, they do remain an environmental and financial issue with regards to plot clearance, should a plot holder vacate in the future.
Strictly no, livestock of any kind is prohibited.

Once it has been approved that it has been left in an acceptable state, your deposit shall be refunded.
